Extract of Email from Pastor Lumika                                            15th May 2013

…..we are happy to bring this information or report which could have been sent last week but due to rain and network I was unable to send it we had a terrible disaster of rain which left people homeless and displaced e.g Kilembe Hospital was swept away and some buildings, 8 people died and around 7000 people were displaced, rivers destroyed the bridges like Mubuku which is near by our center, it crossed from its original channel and joined river Kitakena and swept the down bridge crossing to Maliba centre where by some of our Christians who attend from Kakindo Church who are not attending in big number and also my family have found it very difficult especially going to Maliba church we are now crossing to Ibanda road down to the tarmac road up to Mubuku then go up to Maaliba to the church which is around 14 and a half Kilometers to and fro. I therefore request that if Lord provides finance as I had requested before a motor bicycle which is strong worth 4,030,000shs to ease God's service because I have three services, Wednesday from 3:00 - 4:00, Friday and Sunday from 9:00 to 4:00. I believe the services will go smoothly and even visiting upper hills churches.

We thank the Lord that non of the churches were distroyed and as we are still in the period of lent season our prayer before you is the Lord to provide finance and send the balance of Mbumuro church before July.

Thirdly, the college is doing well and we are happy enjoying different courses, …….
